Here is a useful and comprehensive list of all the award competitions, scoring and evaluation  events that are important in the U.S. wine and spirits market.

I have noted those that are relevant in the U.S. that accept brands that are not-currently imported into the country with an initial asterisk.

We highly recommend that new brands, both domestic and international, enter competitions and get U.S. scores as the first step in their journey.  That way when you get asked the first question from a gatekeeper:  “You got scores?” you can answer “Yes!”.
